What is Nidol?
We make original designs for things you can wear. Our shop starts with embroidered caps, with clothing in the works. Choose one of our drawings, or bring your own photo, artwork or words to the custom collection.
What can I order now?
Original embroidered caps and custom caps. Clothing isn't ready to order yet. The shop shows what's currently available.
Are the cap designs embroidered or printed?
Embroidered. The design is stitched in thread, not printed. Some images are design previews; check the caption. Thread color and placement can vary slightly on the finished cap.
Nidol original or custom?
An original comes with a Nidol design already chosen. A custom cap starts with your photo, artwork or wording. They're in separate collections, so you can go straight to the one you want.
How do I order a custom cap?
Choose a theme in the custom collection. Pick a cap style and color, add your image or wording, then add it to your cart and check out. You don't need a separate quote for the front design included in the listing.
What file should I upload?
A clear JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 10 MB. Upload it on the product page before adding the cap to your cart. You must own the artwork or have permission to use it. Couple, family and pet themes need a photo or artwork. Name, team and business themes also work with wording alone.
Can I order just one?
Yes. Each price is for one cap and the front embroidery described on its product page. Want a pair with different colors or details? Add each cap separately.
Will it look exactly like my photo?
Not exactly. We simplify the photo for embroidery; we don't print it on the cap. After you order, we'll send a design preview for you to approve before stitching. Finished thread color, scale and placement can vary slightly.
What if my picture won't work for embroidery?
We'll contact you to agree on another option, or cancel and refund before production. Side or back embroidery and extra portraits aren't included unless the product page says they are.
When will it ship?
Small orders of original caps normally ship within two business days. Custom orders need artwork preparation and your approval before production starts. Delivery time is extra. Need it for a particular date? Contact us before ordering. See Shipping.
Can you make caps for a team or business?
Yes. Order the included front design from the team or business theme. For larger batches, other placements or anything outside the listing, talk to us before ordering.
Can I return a custom cap?
Custom and personalized caps can't be returned for a change of mind. If yours arrives damaged or differs from your confirmed order, contact us with your order number and photos. See Returns for the details.
How do I clean it?
Follow the care label. Spot clean where possible, then air dry away from direct heat. More on the Care page.
Where is the embroidery done?
In California. Our blank caps come from suppliers and may be made in another country.
